About Cisco Certification

The Cisco Certification program give you a worldwide recognition of you ability in design, install, configure, operate and trouble shoot of Cisco network. With the certification, you are on the right track towards achieving your successful career in networking and IT.

Five Levels of IT Certification
There are five levels of certification: Entry, Associate, Professional, Expert and Architect, the highest level of accreditation within the Cisco Career Certification program.

Eight Different Paths
Various tracks-such as Routing and Switching, Network Security, and Service Provider-are available, so that you can match your certification path to your job role or industry.

In General Certifications, you may start your journey follow the 3 steps; level by level in 7 different paths

First Step (Entry & Associate Level)
The first step in general Cisco Career Certifications begins either with CCENT as an interim step to Associate level, or directly with CCNA for network operations or CCDA for network design.
This is the foundation level of networking certification.

Second Step (Professional Level)
The Professional level is the advanced level of certification. The certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCIP and CCVP. These certifications are divided into different certification path (or track) for meeting varying of your needs.

Final Step (Expert Level)
This is the highest level of achievement of Cisco certifications. CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is the most respected high-level certification, recognized worldwide as the doctorate" of networking and certifying an individual as an expert.
